Beautiful handcolored twin hemisphere map of the world by Claes Jansz. Visscher with two solar charts and two small celestial charts, surrounded by allegorical representations of the continents. East Brazil is on the eastern Hemisphere. Above and below two circles with a diameter of 6,8 cm presenting the solar system. In the upper circle the sun is the centre (Copernicus) , in the lower circle earth is the centre ( Ptolemaeus).
